Tower of Terror

The Tower of Terror is one of the popular attractions at Walt Disney World. Towards the sunset end of the Boulevard emerges the magnificent Hollywood Tower Hotel.

This tower is 13 storeys and is the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. In fact, it is the entrance to Terror.

The Disney MGM Studio Tower of Terror gives you a walking experience amidst stone rummages and decaying plants associated by a background theme, a haunting music of Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington.

The Tower of Terror is a tour on a chilling tower building with a lobby decorated with antique furniture.

You are asked to enter a library where you happen to see props used in the features. This is a lovely Twilight Zone that begins when the library door closes and the TV switches are on. This has a captivating story line and is very beautifully themed.

This episode ‘Twilight Zone’ is a feature that shows a young girl and her nanny going up in a lift and then the onwards leaves you in a surprise. This episode is a real shocking experience as you wait to board a service elevator and fastening you seatbelt you watch the doors open and close and the fun begins when the computer takes control and you keep shuttling up and down numerous times. The greatest souvenir is the photo that shows everyone in a state of happiness and terror lit on their face.

The traumatic experience begins with the pre-show itself when the visitors enter the library and a short film is hosted by Rod Sterling the creator of this television series.

The conclusion leads to a ride plunged into darkness and later on guided to a hotels boiler room that makes you wait for the elevator.

Visitors glide through various passageways, and with innumerable sparks, the elevator drops and climbs and at one point you can see that 13 storeys are below you and you eventually are back to the elevator exit. The Tower of Terror is a must ride for thrill seekers.

The Tower of Terror has a facility of Fast pass and it continues to be busy. A fast pass enables you to ride it without long waits. Even prior to the ride, you can change your mind and exit.

People who fear dark or are Claustrophobia or fear heights may restrict from this ride as they may experience an upset feeling.

The squeals and screams really pull the other visitors to enjoy this ride without fail. This ride may be intense for young children. There are numerous fast food corner, restaurants and menus available from all around the world. Even the vegetarian and other diets are available to a great extent. Specific merchandise is at the exit of the Tower of Terror, where you can collect various souvenirs.
