Adventureland

It was renamed as ‘The Enchanted Tiki Room under New Management’ after the introduction of Iago of Aladdin and Zazu of the Lion King. The Jungle Cruise was opened way back in the year 1971.

It is said that Walt Disney desired to include live animals in this ride, an idea that was dropped due to the fact that animals cannot be always controlled.

It is a ten minute ride that is supposed to take the ‘passengers’ on a trip through all the four countries.

The other well known attractions of Adventureland are the Magic Carpets of Aladdin that send the rider on a never ending ride. It has sixteen ‘carpets’ joined to a genie lamp at the center.
