The rides, twisting tides, exotic waterways, gushing rapids and the refreshing rivers soothe one’s soul. There is a special area that permits the guests to snorkel with real sharks and other fishes. Barring out this area, the rest of Typhoon Lagoon’s waters are heated up to a lively 75-80 degrees temperature.
Some of the exotic attractions of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are Castaway Creek with rain forests, waterfalls, caves, open grottos and waterworks. The other attraction is the Gangplank falls with huge inner tubes that can hold four visitors down the rapids. The water effects are special associated with the rock formations.
Humunga Kowabunga is an attraction that travels at 30mph speed and is a ride through caves. Crush N Gusher is a unique ride based on the theme of deserted and decayed fruit processing center. Each segment impels you through various turns, twists, tunnels and spillways. The ride is thrilling as it plunges into the wading pools of the hideaway bay and the water jets pull you back down the wild waterway.
The Typhoon Lagoon is near the Shark Reef attraction. Shark Reef is the coral reef atmosphere that features snorkel with live sharks as well as tropical fish. The equipments are available free of cost. Life jackets are available on rental basis.
The Ketchakiddee Creek is meant for children with various activities such as slides, music as well as ball fountains, floating boats, squirting animals and waterfalls. Mayday falls travel along the slides; Storm Slides invite the guests through the waterfalls, caves, geysers and bubbling pools. Wave pools are fantastic as it has swift and slow moments. They have dressing room lockers and dressing areas.
Towels are offered on rent and the places on dining are Leaning Palms that offer snacks such as sandwiches, pizza, beer Yoghurt, lunch and dinner. They are prominent for Pizza, Burgers, salads, ice cream, sandwiches and beverages. Typhoon Tully’s are famous for their lunch, dinner, especially hot dogs, beverages and sandwiches. Lowtide Lou’s has good snacks and sodas; frozen drink specialties are available with Let’s go Slurpin’ and Surf Doggies have tasty hot dogs and turkey legs and finally you can settle down to Happy Landings Ice Cream. |
