Disney’s California Adventure is sited in Anaheim, California. This is a theme park adjacent to Disneyland Park owned by The Walt Disney Company. This was established in 2001. The main idea of constructing this 55 acre theme park was to expand the park and transform it into a multi-day resort destination.

So they shifted the Disneyland area as well as its hotels into the Disneyland Resort. This comprises of five areas Hollywood pictures Backlot, Paradise Pier, Sunshine Plaza, The Golden State and A Bug’s Land. All these reflect on the culture and history of California. They have rides and more emphasis on adult thrill rides.

DCA was designed to allure a whole family and has basic kiddie’s rides as well. This is a substitute to Disneyland. The Sunshine Plaza is designed in a big postcard and is the entrance. Sunshine Plaza has two excellent restaurants that offer counter service.

Paradise Pier has attractions has many boardwalks and some of the prominent attractions are the Golden Zephyr, Jumping Jellyfish and Mulholland Madness. However, a mammoth roadside attraction is the dinosaur created of a Sunglass Shack.

Condor Flats is based on the aviation theme and the attraction here is the popular ride that offers a glider tour of California.

Moreover, the counter service restaurant of the Taste Pilot’s Grill is a great fascination. The Grizzly Peak Recreational Area has attraction such as river rapid rides called Grizzly River Run. Adjacent to it is the interactive playground that houses an amphitheater that brings out characters from Disney’s Brother Bear.

The Bay area has houses resembling the Victorian architecture townhouses of San Francisco. The Golden Vine Winery includes two restaurants, the ‘Vineyard Room’ that offers good food and immense selection of wines, and ‘Wine Country Trattoria’ is another dining restaurant that offers Italian foods and wines. ‘Pacific Wharf’ also has many cafes and restaurants. This features, Corn and flour machines, bread making process as video tours.

The Hollywood Pictures Backlot is made to appear as Hollywood boulevards and based on movie theme attractions. The entrance features two elephant structures made of ceramic. ‘Bugs Land’ offer kid rides such as Fliks Flyers, Dots Puddle Park, Francis Ladybug Boogie, Heimlichs Chew Chew Train and Tuck and Rolls Drive Buggies.
